7/5/21-7/11/21 There were a few hiccups including an incorrectly wired outlet for the camper contributing to a blown converter, but we have a new battery backup and are now up and running! Due to severe storms and extensive damage in the region, we had to cancel Jack’s graduation party we had planned at Spalding Recreation Area. Just the Tops! Our newly barren 60’x60′ plot Beautiful Fall hike at Sodelis Nature Reserve! Installed the lights on Cornhole for our night tournaments! Jack regaled us with Halloween jokes and I told spooky stories around our Halloween Campfire! Developed our trail from the Nest to Hammock Hollow, cleared more area there to facilitate our satellite fire pit!
Marked the trees willing to sacrifice their lives for the sake of our future pole barn Hiked part of the Joanna Trail until we discovered there are large sections which are not actively maintained. (Contacted Corps of Engineers) Moved the shed and cement blocks near the compost
Gus is roaming more freely now with the addition of our run We now have WATER! We installed a run for Gus to have more freedom! And Jack is enjoying the benefits of doing virtual school at Camp Wildflower
